Reverence
Angel of the Indwelling Christ of God
Angels, ascending and descending – the imaging
power of mind receiving divine ideas and reflecting them into
consciousness
Matthew 4:11, Mark 13:26 -27, John 1:51, Hebrews 1:14
Reverence is thinking, feeling, and acting as though you are
in the presence of God.
Reverence is being aware that in God you live and move and
have your being.
Reverence is having respect for Life.
Reverence can be experienced in times of prayer, reflection,
contemplation, meditation and the silence.
Reverence is treating other people, holy books and other sacred
things as very special.
Whether you are in a place of worship or spending time in a
place of beauty, reverence is being still and allowing the wonder
you feel to shine through.
Affirmation:
I practice reverence. I take time today to
be still, to reflect and to listen to my heart. I am aware
of and obey the still small voice of the Christ as the Godhead within
me. I act with respect for all people and creatures.
