Elimination

Disciple: Thaddeus

Month of November

Tribe of Israel: Napthali

Based on Revelations 21:11-14

ELIMINATION
[RENUNCIATION] is man’s power to cast aside and free himself from error and destructive thoughts, forms, doctrines and traditions which misrepresent health and wholeness from achieving expression in human lives and affairs.

ELIMINATION is power to deny, reject and escape from all states of consciousness which act as restraints on the activity presence, power, virtues and gifts of the indwelling Christ of God within us and in our midst.

ELIMINATION is the idea of letting go and giving up and making room for the indwelling Christ, to be Lord of my life.

ELIMINATION in man is the ability to renounce, deny, reject, or cast off all that is contrary to the love, goodness and righteousness of the indwelling and incarnate Christ, in our spiritual cores.

Prayer:

We now share this prayer together:

Most merciful Lord and King, You are the Way, Truth and Life. Jesus of Nazareth revealed to us that only the pure in heart could see You. Lord in your grace and truth; cleanse the thoughts and intentions of our hearts from all immaturity and spiritual blindness. Give us such hatred for error and evil, and such love for all that is righteous and good; that we may be delivered from temptation, and become strengthened with clear spiritual discernment and understanding, in these times of suffering and testing, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Devotion:

In Matthew 5:8 Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God". This be-attitude demands that every person who hears, reads and digests the Word, should stop, think and examine himself. He should look at the intentions and attitudes of his heart in the light of God’s eternal plan for mankind. In this teaching, Jesus is saying, that godly is the person whose thoughts, motives and intentions are always entirely unmixed, clean and upright; for that person shall see and experience the indwelling and incarnate Christ as his Life, Love, Law, Grace and Truth [John 1:17]. This teaching of Jesus presents inward purity as one of the necessary conditions which lead into the spiritual dimension of our lives and the spiritual kingdom of Heaven, in our midst and within us [Luke 17:20 -25].

Elimination is the spiritual-mental power within each person to cast off and free one’s self from destructive thoughts, dogmas and traditions, which prevent newness of life and the spiritual maturity which leads to Christ consciousness. Error and sin stifle spiritual growth, creative expression, the virtues and the gifts of the indwelling Christ and the Holy Spirit in one’s daily lives and affairs.

Renunciation is the power to reject, deny and cast aside material and carnal states of consciousness, which also restrain the creative activity of the Christ Mind and the Christ Presence within each person. It is the power to repent and embrace God’s love and forgiveness, in Christ. It is the ability to let go and let God.

Frequently we find that the people who are most open to Christ-centered spiritual mindedness and transformation are those who sin in the flesh through worldly mindedness. On the other hand, the hardest to reach are the self-satisfied, xenophobic, carnal minded, religious zealot. Jesus found this to be true when certain skeptical chief priests, scribes and elders rejected him and the authority of his teachings. In Matthew 21:31 he told them, "Truly I say unto you, the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you."

In the Epistle to the Philippians 4:8-9, Paul provides sound advice and guidance to Christ-centered, spiritually awake believers of all the world religions. He states, "Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you."

Daily Practical Application & Affirmation:

  • Elimination is quickened in me.
  • I let go all ideas and beliefs in separation of humankind form God and each other..
  • I give up those thoughts and feelings which do not conform to Christ-centered principles and Truth.
  • Like Jesus, I renounce the dominion, activity and error of the mind of the flesh [Son of Man].
  • Like Jesus, I deny having any personal power, completeness and sufficiency apart from the indwelling Christ, the Son of God [John 14:10].
  • I now discern and claim the mystery of God’s presence, power, virtues and spiritual gifts, now manifesting through Abba Father, Christ and the Holy Spirit, who dwell in the spiritual core of all people [John 14:16-26]
