Order

Disciple: James, the Son of Alpheus

Month of September

Tribe of Israel: Zebulum

Based on Revelations 21: 11-14

Order is the ability to perceive systems, methods and techniques. It is the ability to grasp and utilize systems and methods. It is the ability to find and live by a rule.

Order in the Mind of God is an idea of harmonious progress, evolution.

ORDER in man is his ability to perceive and cooperate with the law of growth.

Orderliness is being neat and living with a sense of equanimity. It is being organized and having a place for all things when you need them. Orderliness is masterminding something so that it works, achieving it step by step, instead of going in circles. Order is putting first things first, and prioritizing and doing things you need to.

Let us get still now by gently allowing our thoughts to slow down. Let us lovingly enter the secret place of the Most High at the very center of our being. Through our spiritual nature and in child like faith, let us surrender to the dominion of the indwelling Christ, knowing it is God’s only way to establish everlasting Divine Order in our lives and affairs.

We now share this prayer together.

O God, our Heavenly Father, who has filled the world with beauty, open our spiritual eyes that we may behold your Divine Plan and Order in all your handiwork. By honoring and celebrating your creation, may we learn to serve you with gladness and corporate with the natural and spiritual laws of our planet and your universe, for the glory of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, in whom all things are made.
Amen.

Devotion:

Here are the words spoken by Jesus of Nazareth in St. John 21:22-23 about the awakening and dominion of Christ within John, the apostle. "If it is my will that he (John) remain till I come, what is that to you? Follow me! So the rumor spread in the community that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say he would not die, but, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?"

The beloved disciple John is symbolic of one’s awareness of and self-giving love of Christ in the spiritual core of each all persons. Jesus Christ fully manifested the incarnation of Christ's love. He obeyed God’s Law and therefore realized and demonstrated God’s Image and promises throughout his life. The prevailing sin of the world has always been the rejection of the presence, guidance and sovereignty of Christ.  We ignore and disobey God’s eternal, universal source of Life, Love, Light, Truth and Grace.

In 1 Corinthians 15:22-25, we read these words by St. Paul, "For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming, those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom of God to the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet".

Adam rejected God’s plan for eternal life through the indwelling Christ and instead chose God’s promise of sure death by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil [Genesis 2:16-17]. No one need continue to follow Adam’s error [sin].

Before his death, the apostle John described his spiritual awareness of the mysterious indwelling Chris of God in the Gospel of John and the Epistles of John. In the Book of Revelations, John in metaphor described his vision and experiences of the spiritual kingdom of Christ that Jesus proclaimed and revealed in our midst and within us [Luke 17:20-21, Revelations 21:1-8].

St. Paul stated in Hebrews 9:28, "So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." Here Paul describes the orderly arrangement of God’s plan of salvation, healing and personal transformation through inner spiritual awakening Christ in one’s spiritual core. Mankind’s regeneration and redemption is achieved by consciously crossing out the dominion of the mind of the flesh a, then seeking and eagerly waiting for the dominion of the Mind and Spirit of Christ in one's soul, heart, mind and life.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7, Jesus Christ described in historical-metaphor, God’s orderliness, mindedness, and regulations which every person will eventually learn to embrace and live by. Jesus came not to discard the letter but to fulfill the spirit of God’s Law [Matthew 5:17].

In this "Magna Charta of the Kingdom of Christ", Jesus outlined the orderly progression and evolution of personal and collective human race-consciousness from the mind of the flesh [enmity with God’s plan], to the mind of the Spirit [harmony with God’s plan]. The apostle Paul declared that this transformation begins when one chooses to open one’s soul, heart and to receive and experience one’s own spiritual nature and embraces the dominion of one’s indwelling Christ in one's mindsets, feelings, emotions and affairs.

The Second Coming of Christ is now being received in an orderly manner, in power, in majesty and in glory. Christ and the Holy Spirit, the eternal indwelling Co-creators with God, are now making all things new in lives and affairs of all mankind. God’s will is being done on earth as it is in heaven [John 1:1-5]. God’s time of orderly spiritual recreation is now taking place.

Daily Practical Application & Affirmations:

1. Divine Order is quickened in me.
2. I earnestly seek and embrace the orderly revelation of Christ's Presence and Power in my own life now.
3 By imitating Jesus Christ, I know I am gradually experiencing a Divine orderly evolution in spiritual awareness, the resurrection and second coming of Christ the very center of my being.
4 In Christ Consciousness, I am now progressively experiencing eternal communion with the Father, at Christ’s banquet table in the spiritual Kingdom of God in our midst and within me.
