POWER is the faculty which establishes spiritual dominion,
splendor and mastery in thought, feeling and action.
POWER enables us to transform energy from lower to higher state of activity
Let’s us begin this quiet time by entering the secret place
of the Most High, our spiritual core. This is the place God has designed within us, to hear the still small voice of Christ and experience ‘Stillness’. Effective personal prayer is listening
to indwelling Christ of God and obeying God's will. Allow your thought
to slow down as you gently and lovingly invite your indwelling
Christ to have mastery and dominion over your ideas, thoughts,
intentions and actions.
Prayer:
We now share this prayer together.
Almighty God, you has given us the capacity to search out and
use the wonderful powers and spiritual laws of your universe.
Grant to each of us the sense of responsibility and love for
the Christ and the Holy Spirit and their work in all you
creation. May we use Spirit’s power, your Law and
Christ’s revealed Truth to cross out the prevailing dominion
of the false-self systems of the mind of the flesh.
Give us the power and spiritual discernment
to effectively use the Christ-centered love and non-violent principle
and practices which Jesus taught. Help us to practice the virtues
which you have placed within our spiritual core, to anchor
and further establish Your Kingdom on earth as it has
always been established in heaven.
Devotion:
In St Luke 9:1-2 we read these words, “When Jesus called
the twelve disciples together, he gave them power and authority
to drive out all demons, and cure all diseases and he sent them
out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
In Acts 1:4, 5 and 8, Jesus admonished his disciples, “Do
not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised,
which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized
with water, but in a few days you will be baptized in the Holy
Spirit…But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit
comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and
in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth”.
Jerusalem is symbolic of the Holy City, the mental / spiritual
habitation of spiritual peace within the spiritual core of each person. Judea is symbolic
of the state of consciousness in which we allow the Mind
of Christ to have dominion and greater expression of Divine spiritual power
in our lives. Samaria a city in northern Palestine, is
representative of the state of consciousness within us where
great spiritual work needs to be done and the activity of the Christ
Mind and the Holy Spirit have greater reign from the City of Peace within
each soul, heart and mind.
This mental-spiritual center of power is mankind’s ability
to receive and bring into manifestation Christ-centered change in perception,
intention and action. It is the latent capacity for motion, achievement
and the complete manifestation of the higher Self. The transforming
power of the indwelling Christ and the Holy Spirit are always present though often hidden, within the spiritual core of each person.
It is important for us to remember that we should open the door of our hearts Christ's
spiritual presence and power This power is principally for use on ourselves rather than on other
people. Christ-centered believers seek to lead others to
personal awareness of the power of the indwelling and incarnate Christ of God and the Holy Spirit within their own spiritual
core to transform and regenerate their own lives.
The goal of the Christ-centered believer is to honor and glorify the Holy Spirit,
proclaim the indwelling and incarnate Christ of God as Savior, Lord and Master. They
seek to
further anchored kingdom of God within each person and in our midst [Luke 17:20 -21].
