I believe that science will provide psychological, philosophical, religious and medical proof that recognition and reverence for and confidence in the invisible Christ of Faith [Logos] in the spiritual body of the historical Jesus and all people is the vital breakthrough needed for the salvation and  healing of our planet. This vital breakthrough can be found in living the Paschal Mystery, in the mind of the spirit.  

For the past thirty years I have been a Christ-centered, Bible-based New Thought student. I am also a devout Anglican / Episcopalian. I am the Founder and President of Phoenix Charitable Foundation and the Spiritual Leader of the spiritual learning organization, New Thought Ministries. 

My sincere prayer is to be a gentle spiritual guide in bringing into clearer view and greater realization, the presence, activity and reign of the incarnate Christ of Faith as the individualized Logos (ADONAI), in our souls, hearts, minds, emotions, relationships and in every area of our human lives. This emerging spiritual dimension of Systematic Incarnational and Liberation theology is the central and unifying focus and foundation of God's universal Love, Grace and Truth, in every human encounter and relationship (John 1:14-18).

I believe that in the Christian tradition the regular use of the 'Seasons of the Spirit', and Revised Common Lectionary will be vital links for greater healing, communion, dialogue and spiritual understanding between Traditional, Fundamentalist, Charismatic and New Thought Christians. In Christ-centered ministries within all traditions, religions, cultures, ethnic and secular groups, our true unity can and will be revealed, as we seek to share and live the literal, allegorical, metaphysical and mystical meanings of the Paschal Mystery, by steadfastly following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery, in the mind of the spirit (Luke 9:21-27).

I believe that, like the historical Jesus, we are each the eternal life and breath of God, spiritual beings temporarily co-creating and sharing incarnate human experiences. Therefore the spiritual dimension of our lives can no longer be limited to the narrow and often distorted lens of fundamentalist, carnal-minded religious dogma, creeds, ritual, and ceremonies. Christ-centered spirituality must now take the faith-based and scientifically-based center stages in the political, medical, economic, educational, social, cultural and religious dimensions of our lives.

New Thought Ministries seeks to proclaim that in the central, universal, salvific Christ-events are found the liberation of mankind from slavery to sin and mankind passing over into kingdom living here on earth. This means crossing out of the inappropriate dominion and destruction of the mind of the flesh. Through the historical Jesus' baptisms of water, the Holy Spirit and fire, we will experience Christ-centered spiritual awakening, new thinking, new life and a new sense of true human harmony, love, unity, reconciliation, civility and wholeness in every human encounter and relationship throughout our planet.

This Paschal Mystery is the center of the work that the Father sent the historical Jesus to do on earth. The Christ-centered caring, teaching, saving and healing work of the historical Jesus, through the universal, indwelling Christ of Faith (ADONAI), is the focus and proclamation of New Thought Ministries. I believe it is also the central work of the spiritually awake body of Christ, as the universal, inclusive, witnessing, paschal, faith community, throughout our planet.     

I believe that there is a pressing need for a thorough grounding in and knowledge of 'the Myths' found the Holy Scripture texts and verbal traditions of all the world religions. I also believe there is an urgent need for greater clarity, understanding and practical application of the Christ-centered metaphysical and mystical or inner spiritual meaning of all these sacred texts and teachings, in every area of our daily human lives and relationships. This Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based clarity can be found in the context of human beings actually following the historical Jesus in living and daily practical application of the inner spiritual meanings of living the Paschal Mystery, in the mind of the spirit.

The historical Jesus, I believe, was and still is the great physician. To me, the historical Jesus is also the great metaphysician. Jesus taught and demonstrated the full manifestation of the image, likeness and incarnation of the invisible Godhead through the spiritual body of every person (Genesis 1:27, Colossians 2:9). I believe that by faith, humility and obedience, the historical Jesus' caring, teaching, healing, compassion and union with the Divine can be potentially experienced by all humankind, while here on earth (John 14:12-14, 27-28). This inclusive, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based liberation theology is the foundation of my faith and my new birth experience in the Christ of Faith.

I believe that exploring this Christ-centered personal and collective inward spiritual journey involves applying the caring, teaching and healing principle which the historical Jesus used in our daily lives. They are for the ultimate purposes of true worship, virtuous service and Civil and peaceful living, not only within faith communities, but every area of our human lives. The Paschal Mystery provides the universal framework for humankind's liberation from the inappropriate dominion, deception, divisiveness, destruction and incivility of the mind of the flesh and re-establishing kingdom living and the kingdom of God within us and in our midst.  

The sharing and daily practical application of the Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based principles and practices of the historical Jesus' Christ-centered liberation theology is my call and mission. My enduring passion is to facilitate personal and collective transformation, healing, nurturing and reconciliation processes through greater practical application of the Paschal Mystery, in all dimensions of our lives. This Christ-centered, Spirit-based liberation theology is the sure and solid foundation on which to build humankind's reconciliation with God and one another, through the universal Christ of Faith. 

I am the Theologian in Residence at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia. I have been an inspirational and motivational radio speaker. I am a Master Facilitator for 'The Virtues Project Inc'.
