About New Thought
New Thought is an attempt to rediscover
and experience what Christianity could be when we allow freedom
of belief to contemplate and follow the loving, healing and
transforming example of the historical Jesus, the Nazarene[Luke 9:18-27]. It is about following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery. It is about the universal Exodus, all mankind being delivered from slavery to sin, and passing over into the freedom of God's love, through the indwelling and incarnate Christ of Faith.
The historical Jesus' teaching, message and model as Messiah, are centered around his living the Paschal Mystery. His life, passion, death, resurrection and ascension are based in his Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-based
understanding, of his and our eternal relationship with the indwelling Godhead. To Jesus, the universal Logos, is forever individualized within himself and every person, as the indwelling Christ of Faith. The historical Jesus therefore discerned and fulfilled
the Spirit of God’s Law, through his steadfast faith in the Christ of Faith, God's image and likeness, in his and our spiritual bodies.
All New Thought Ministries teachings, lectures and workshops are centered in sharing the inner spiritual meaning and daily practical application of mankind following the historical Jesus in living the Paschal Mystery. This is the central work which the Godhead sent and empowered the historical Jesus to do on earth. This teaching, saving, healing and restoring work of Jesus Christ is called the Gospel of Christ.
New Thought
Christian spirituality is therefore a theology and philosophy for Christ-centered, deliverance, spiritual awakening, healing, happiness and prosperity. It is based on the daily practical application of the principles
and practices which the historical Jesus taught and revealed in living the Paschal Mystery.
Like Jesus the Nazarene, we seek to dissolve estrangement and reconnect to the indwelling Godhead, each other, and all creation, through the indwelling and incarnate Christ of Faith [Logos] in the spiritual body of every person (Genesis 1:26-31).
